Pink (2018)

Taken from the EP Swallow Your Doubt, Pink is an upbeat synthpop song that deals with the complex relationship between feminine gay men and masculine gay men in a playful tongue n cheek way. The accompanying video, influenced by turn of the 80s surreal pop videos, acts as a public awareness broadcast designed to call out the often oppressive characteristics of masculine men who put down more effeminate gay men.

Both song and video strike a balance between retro sounds and visuals with a contemporary social commentary on gay power dynamics.
